Privacy Policy

When your organization signs up, we collect account information (name, email, company details) and the data your team enters while using Clipinn — employee records, attendance, leave, payroll, tasks, CRM data, chat messages, and files you upload.

If you use Alpha, the messages and any attachments you send it are processed in order to generate a response. Alpha only ever acts on your organization's own data, and a message you tag it in through regular chat is answered using only that one message — never your other conversations.

We use your data to operate the product you signed up for — to run attendance and payroll calculations, show your tasks and CRM pipeline, deliver chat messages, and answer questions through Alpha. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your organization's data to train models for other customers.

Access inside your organization is controlled by the roles and permissions your admins configure — Clipinn enforces those permissions on every request, including requests made through Alpha. Clipinn staff only access your data when necessary to provide support, and only with reasonable safeguards in place.

Data is stored with reputable cloud infrastructure providers and encrypted in transit and at rest. Sensitive data, including bank details and personal information, is encrypted. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel, and important changes are recorded in an audit trail.

Some features rely on third-party services to function — for example, AI processing for Alpha, email delivery, and WhatsApp messaging infrastructure for teams who connect it. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their specific function.

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion, subject to what we're legally required to retain. Contact us and we'll help.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify your organization's admin.
