This Refund Policy explains how ClipInn handles payments, refunds, and cancellations for its HR management platform. By subscribing to any paid plan on ClipInn, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out in this policy.

1. Overview

ClipInn is committed to providing a transparent and fair experience for all of its users. We believe customers should have the opportunity to fully evaluate our platform before committing to a paid subscription. That is why we offer a generous 30-day free trial — no credit card required — so you can explore every feature of ClipInn at absolutely no cost.

Because we provide this free trial period prior to any charge being made, all payments are non-refundable once processed. This policy is consistent and applies to all plans, billing cycles, and user accounts.

2. Free Trial

All new ClipInn accounts are eligible for a 30-day free trial that includes full access to all features and functionality of the platform. The free trial is designed to give every user ample opportunity to evaluate whether ClipInn meets their needs before making any financial commitment.

  • No credit card is required to start your free trial.
  • You have access to all ClipInn features during the trial period at no charge.
  • Your trial will not automatically convert to a paid subscription. You must actively choose a plan and provide payment details to continue using ClipInn after the trial ends.
  • If you decide not to subscribe after your trial, your account will simply become inactive — you will not be charged anything.

We strongly encourage all users to thoroughly explore ClipInn during the free trial period. Given that this trial is provided at no cost and requires no payment information, we are unable to offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with the product once a paid subscription has been purchased.

3. Subscription Payments

ClipInn offers monthly and annual subscription plans. By selecting a plan and completing checkout, you authorize the collection of the applicable subscription fee through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, sales tax, and subscription billing on behalf of ClipInn.

  • Monthly plans: Billed once per month on your subscription renewal date.
  • Annual plans: Billed once per year on your subscription renewal date. Annual plans are charged in full at the time of purchase.
  • Subscription fees are charged in advance for the upcoming billing period.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your payment details are accurate and up to date to avoid any interruption to your service.
  • Applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, or sales tax) may be added to your invoice depending on your location.

4. No Refund Policy

All payments made to ClipInn are final and non-refundable. This applies to:

  • Monthly subscription fees
  • Annual subscription fees
  • Any plan upgrades or add-ons
  • Renewals that were not cancelled before the renewal date
  • Customization and development fees (see Section 5)

We do not offer partial refunds for unused time remaining in a billing period. If you cancel your subscription mid-cycle, your account will remain active and accessible until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not be renewed or charged further.

This no-refund policy exists because ClipInn provides a full-featured, no-credit-card-required 30-day free trial. By the time a user subscribes to a paid plan, they have already had the opportunity to evaluate the platform in its entirety. We consider this a fair and transparent approach to pricing.

5. Customization & Development Fees

ClipInn offers custom development and platform customization services to clients who require tailored features, workflows, or integrations beyond the standard product offering. All customization and development fees are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the outcome or any subsequent decision made by the client.

This policy exists because customization work involves the allocation of dedicated developer time, resources, and effort on your behalf. Once development work has commenced — or has been completed — those costs cannot be recovered, irrespective of whether you ultimately decide to continue using ClipInn or not.

Specifically, customization fees are non-refundable in all of the following scenarios:

  • Work in progress: If development has started on your requested customization, no refund will be issued — even if you decide to cancel the request midway.
  • Work completed: If the requested customization has been fully delivered, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
  • Change of mind: If you choose not to continue with ClipInn after a customization has been built for you, the customization fee remains non-refundable. The developers have performed the work specifically for your organization and that effort cannot be reversed.
  • Decision not to subscribe: If a customization was completed as part of an evaluation or pre-onboarding process and you subsequently decide not to subscribe to ClipInn, the customization fee will not be refunded.
  • Partial use: If only part of the customization was used or integrated, the full fee remains non-refundable.

Before any customization work begins, ClipInn will provide a written scope of work and fee estimate for your approval. By approving the scope and making payment, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of this non-refundable policy. We strongly recommend reviewing the scope carefully before authorizing any development work.

Scope Changes & Additional Customization Requests: If, during the course of development, the client requests additional features, changes, or expansions beyond the originally agreed scope of work, the following will apply:

  • Additional development time will be required, which will extend the delivery timeline accordingly.
  • An updated fee estimate will be provided for the additional work. The client must approve and pay for any additional scope before that work begins.
  • Scope changes requested mid-development may impact previously completed work and could result in additional charges beyond the original estimate.
  • Requesting additional customizations does not entitle the client to a refund of fees already paid for work already completed or in progress.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your ClipInn subscription at any time, directly from within your account settings. Cancellation is immediate and will prevent future charges from being made.

  • Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to all features during this time.
  • Once the billing period ends, your account will transition to an inactive state and you will no longer be charged.
  • Cancelling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any prior billing period.
  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time by visiting your account settings and selecting a plan.

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription before your renewal date. ClipInn does not provide refunds for charges that occurred because a cancellation was not submitted in time.

7. Exceptions and Extraordinary Circumstances

While our standard policy is that all payments are non-refundable, we understand that extraordinary circumstances can arise. ClipInn may, at its sole discretion, consider requests for account credits or refunds in the following limited situations:

  • Billing errors: If you were charged an incorrect amount due to a technical or administrative error on our part.
  • Duplicate charges: If your account was charged more than once for the same billing period as a result of a system error.
  • Prolonged service outages: If ClipInn experienced a significant, verified service outage that materially impacted your ability to use the platform for an extended period, as determined by our team.

Refund requests under exceptional circumstances must be submitted within 14 days of the charge in question. Requests submitted after this window may not be eligible for review. ClipInn reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a refund or credit is warranted in any given case.

Dissatisfaction with the product, lack of use, or failure to cancel before a renewal date are not considered exceptional circumstances and do not qualify for a refund.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, we strongly encourage you to contact us at hr@clipinn.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Since payments are processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record, you may also see "Paddle" or "Paddle.com" on your bank or card statement. We are committed to resolving billing concerns quickly and fairly.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting ClipInn may result in the immediate suspension of your account pending investigation. Accounts found to have submitted fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may be permanently terminated.

9. Changes to This Policy

ClipInn reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed. Your continued use of ClipInn after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
